He is the current Mayor of Karongi District, serving since 28 March 2025. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Acting Mayor of Karongi District from 16 November 2024. Before then, he held several positions in public service, including serving as the Mayor of Kirehe District and as the Executive Secretary of the district, among other responsibilities.
